A disappointing Friday evening fixture for the senior side as they failed to build on what had been a snappy opening half display against visiting Devenish.
A brisk forward performance that saw a couple of goals collected had the team in a strong position, well clear at the interval and a quick score on the restart was an added boost.
But it was more or less downhill from there onwards, Devenish gaining a distinct edge in the middle third of the pitch and they steadily made inroads into Tempo’s appreciable lead.
A penalty goal for the Garrison side eventually pulled the shutters down on Tempo’s fading challenge.
And it was to be a case of a second defeat on Sunday the side travelling to Belleek where they went down by a five points margin.
On a positive note this was still a reasonably solid performance and it was not until late in the hour that the game effectively went beyond reach.
