Club Notes 27.02.17

The under 14 side lost their second successive game in the league but last Saturday’s display against a very strong Enniskillen A side was to be a terrific performance from the young panel.

They finished just two points adrift of one of the strongest clubs in the county and could feel somewhat disappointed in fact that they didn’t come out on top.

All through a hard fought sixty minutes the Tempo boys were right in contention, holding the lead on a couple of occasions but in the end they just came up short.

An excellent team display all round with particularly notable contributions turned in by Aaron Cassidy and Liam Moore in the defence, Sean Fee and Ruairi Moore in the centre of the park and from Conor Wright in the attack.

Next up for the boys is an away fixture with Devenish on Saturday afternoon.

Torrential rain on Sunday ruled out the scheduled minor league fixture with Maguiresbridge. Next outing for the squad is on Sunday, an away trip to Teemore.

Lotto jackpot for last weekend was not won the numbers drawn being 1 8 26 and 28.

Winners of the two £25 prizes were Tony Green and A Montgomery, Maguiresbridge. Jackpot for next Saturday stands at £3 300. Team on duty for March 4th is Peter Bogue,Frank Kelly and Eamon Rasdale.

Team on duty for Saturdays March 11 and 18 is Damian Campbell, Declan Campbell, Niall McCusker and Anthony Traynor.
