Gathering pace for the 2018 season with teams now involved in two competitions, under 15 league and the Erne Cup, games in both competitions played on home soil on Saturday evening.
First up was the underage game which saw Enniskillen as the visitors but this was to be a disappointing day for our young players.
They had opened their league campaign with a fine away success over Roslea and early in the second half in the clash with Enniskillen, a seven points lead established, they appeared to be heading for another win. But things went badly awry from there on in and the boys were to lose out by four points having failed to make any further headway against a Gaels side who showed massive improvement.
Next up for the side is an away trip to Devenish.
Disappointment too for the Erne Cup panel who lost out to visiting Kinawley. The damage was done in the opening half as the side took time to settle down and they found themselves much on the back foot, coughing up two goals.
With just a couple of points in response the team headed into the second half well adrift but there was to be a better showing from there on, the morale boosted by a mid half goal powered home by full forward Caoimhin Bogue.
Kinawley however were to answer with occasional points that kept them comfortable enoughand a second Tempo goal from DeclanMcCarron came too late in the hour to have any impact.
Round two game for the side is an away trip to St Patricks.
