A much depleted under 14 side went down to visiting Lisnaskea last midweek. It was the first league setback the team has suffered for quite sometime but there was no surprise in losing out here as the physical core of the team was absent. Lisnaskea were in control right from the outset and held a big interval lead and that lead was never to be threatened to any appreciable extent over the second half. However with a full squad available the prospects of winning the league title still look very bright.
Defeat also for the Erne Cup side who lost out by a narrow margin to visitors Kinawley on Friday evening and they now face a stiff battle to retain their first division status over the remainder of the campaign. Also losing out was the Ladies senior side who went under to neighbours Brookeboro at the weekend.
The minor team are also still in the running for qualification for their divisional final but the finish of that competition some way ahead as there is a break in the games schedule to allow for preparation for the provincial championship tie this coming Sunday.
