The senior side played Kinawley on Sunday morning in a challenge game at the Edenmore venue and this resulted in a draw. The team will hopefully be back in competitive action next weekend with their final game in Segment One of the revamped league, they face St Patricks at the Donaghh ground. Unfortunately the side will be competing in the lower group for Segment Two, four games here and the aim is to avoid relegation to the second division for 1916. Already relegated to the intermediate championship for next year it would be doubly disappointing if first division status was also surrendered.
So a brief but hugely important tranche of games coming up for the squad over late October and into November.
