The club AGM will be held in the pavilion on Friday December 9th with a starting time of 8-00 pm and all members are encouraged to be present for what is obviously one of the primary club meetings of the year.
At senior level on the playing field it was a disappointing season with the team relegated to the second division but in many other areas there is ample grounds for optimism especially on the youth front.
A number of club members, 18 in all were involved in a fundraising project for Fermanagh Prostate Cancer support group. This concerned a November beard/mustache growth with a collective shave being held in Campbell’s on Saturday night. It was a terrific success and monies raised so far is in the region of £2 550.
Thanks go to all the participants and in particular to Adrian Meehan who was one of the key organisers of the event.
The Lotto jackpot for last weekend was not won the numbers drawn being 1 15 19 and 27. Winners of the two £25 prizes were John Connolly and Tom McCaffery. Jackpot for next weekend now stands at £5 900.
Team on duty for Saturday December 10 is Barry Breen, Aiden Breen and John Owens. Team on duty for December 17 and 24 is Adrian Bogue, Leo Monaghan, Ciaran Campbell and Ryan Bogue.
The weekly Games Session with a revamped prize money list attracted an increased attendance last Thursday and it is to be hoped that this trend will continue over the rest of the month.
