U12s report from Glenavy

Well done to our u12s who represented the club with pride in Glenavy, Co Antrim today. The team topped their group in the initial stages of the competition with some great football, and entered the cup competition with confidence. The cup quarterfinal was played against Wolfe Tones from Armagh and was a draw after full time. Extra time was played and still the teams were inseparable. However, one of Tempos scores came from a 45, and controversially this stood against them at the final whistle and the team were knocked out amid great disappointment.

The team can take great confidence from today as they prepare for the Paul and Orla blitz next weekend and the league in the summer.

Thanks to Glenavy for a good day of football. And the refreshments which we can be seen enjoying!
