U12 update

Tempo u12s recorded another win on the road last night, this time away to Roslea. With Tempo missing several regular players, only a point separated the sides at half time, Tempo goals coming from Declan Monaghan and Conor Wright. However, a revived Tempo took to the field in the 2nd half and ended up recording a comfortable win, scores coming regularly from Patrick Connelly, Niall Fee, Brendan Cassidy, Liam Moore and Rhyss O’Hara. At the other end of the field there were strong displays from Sineve Cassidy, Michael Fee, and Ruairi Moore in defence. Aaron Cassidy had his usual solid game in goals, and special mention to his replacement AJ in the 2nd half for one particularly good save, diving smartly to his right to divert the ball round the post.

Next match is a home game currently scheduled for this Saturday, Irvinestown the visitors. Throw-in is at 4pm, players to be at field from 3.20pm.

Also training will be on Thursday evening at 7pm.

Tempo U12s – update

Tempo U12s played away to Aughadrumsee last night. On a crowded pitch at Aughadrumsee’s request, which Tempo agreed to as it gives more of our large panel playing time, the team dominated possession but found scoring difficult into smaller than normal goals and left on a scoreline of Tempo 4-4, Aughadrumsee 2-10. Aughadrumsee were more conservative with their shooting, scoring regular on counter-attacks. Some confusion if this is a draw or a win for Aughadrumsee as it is not clear if a goal is worth 2 or 3 points at U12!. According to the website on the Fermanagh GAA page this is a draw – http://fermanagh.gaa.ie/fixtures-results/?owner=2165&compID=57065&leagueTable=y

Next match is coming up this Saturday, 1st August, this being an away match to Roslea. Match is currently scheduled for 4pm, meeting in Tempo at 2.50pm to be away at 3pm sharp.

U12 win v Ederney

Tempo U12 had a 2nd win of their campaign, this time it was a tight tussle against a good Ederney team. Great performances throughout the team, and some magnificent last gasp goalkeeping and defending at times to prevent the opposition from scoring goals. Thanks to Aidy for refereeing the game at the last minute due to the official referee not turning up.
